Newtonville Historic District Commission: The Newtonville Historic District Commission will meet on Thursday, December 5th at 7:30 p.m. in Room 205. The agenda includes the following:

  • Three Requests for Certificate of Appropriateness
    • Request to replace siding, fascia, trim, gutters and downspouts; install leaf guards as needed at 12 Turner Street
    • Request to install a second chimney on the right side of the house at 87 Prescott Street
    • Request to replace some sashes with aluminum clad windows and to keep some of the installed between-the-glass grille windows (NOTE: The original wood windows were replaced with vinyl between-the-glass grille windows without Commission review and approval = Violation) Continued at 161 Walnut Street
