Land Use Committee: The Land Use Committee will meet on Tuesday, August 6th at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber to discuss three (well, really two items – see Agenda):
- Request for a Special Permit/Site Plan Approval to amend a previously granted special permit to allow a waiver of 14 parking stalls and allow assigned parking at 35-41 Lincoln Street (See Planning Memo)
- Request to rezone three parcels and request for a special permit/site plan approval to allow a mixed-use development greater than 20,000 sq.ft. with building heights of up to 96′ consisting of 822 (now 800) residential units…NORTHLAND DEVELOPMENT (See Northland Newton Development Project Description; see Planning Memo for Planning and Development Board and see Planning Memo for Land Use Committee of the City Council) – NOTE: The petitioner will provide an overview of the revised Transportation Demand Management Plan. The Chair will engage in a working session to discuss aspects of the proposed project but there will be no public comment taken. The Public Hearing remains open.
