City Board and Commission Meetings – Week of December 2nd

Fair Housing Committee:  The Fair Housing Committee will meet on Wednesday, December 5th at 8:00 a.m. in Room 205. The agenda includes the following:

  • Introductions of new members
  • Inclusionary Zoning – follow-up on the Zoning and Planning Committee meeting of November 14th
  • Follow-up on the City Council’s vote on Kesseler Woods request to withdraw their petition to amend the previously approved special permit
  • General discussion of potential training event with the Planning Department

Newton Farm Commission:  The Newton Farm Commission will meet on Thursday, December 6th at 7:00 p.m. in the Planning Department Conference Room. The agenda includes the following:

  • Newton Community Farm, Inc Report – 3rd Quarter Financials, update on Farm operations, and ordinance revisions
  • General Business Announcements

Newton Free Library Spring Fling Committee:  The Newton Free Library Spring Fling Committee will meet on Thursday, December 6th at 7:30 p.m. to discuss the upcoming Spring Fling 2019 .

Newtonville Historic District Commission:  The Newtonville Historic District Commission will meet on Thursday, December 6th at 7:30 p.m. in Room 205.  The agenda includes the following:

  • Request for a Certificate of Appropriateness to replace a basement door at 26 Page Road
  • Request for a Certificate of Appropriateness to replace stockade and chain-link fence and add a new stockade fence section at 137 Walnut Street
  • Request for feedback on a project to demolish and existing garage, build a new 4 car garage, connector and dormer, and renovate existing house at 25 Page Road
