STEM events: NewtonSTEM was established in February 2011 to draw together Newton (Massachusetts) parents, educators, students, and STEM professionals to develop Newton students’ interests and abilities in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), both in school and in extra-curricular activities. On a personal note: my daughter first got involved with Girls Who Code from this fabulous organization and continued her interest by teaching Girls Who Code during her first year in college. To find out about events this week and events all year round, please go to NewtonSTEM.org and sign up for its weekly email newsletter here.
