Land Use Committee to Meet – Tuesday, August 7th

The Land Use Committee will meet on Tuesday, August 7th at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber.  The agenda includes the following:

  • Request to amend a previously granted special permit/site plan approval (#285-17) to relocate Condition 22(h) from building permit requirements and insert it under Certificate of Occupancy requirements for 392-396, 400, 402-404 Langley Road
  • Request for a two-year extension of time to exercise a special permit/site plan approval to construct an accessory apartment above a 3 car garage at 41 Dorset Road
  • Request for a two-year extension of time to exercise a special permit/site plan approval to  allow an association of persons in a common dwelling where inhabitants will share common living spaces at 27 Waverley Avenue
  • Request for special permit/site plan approval to enclose the front porches adding approximately 158 square feet to the structure creating an FAR of .49 where .48 is allowed at 22 Beecher Place
  • Request for a special permit/site plan approval to construct a single-story two-car garage and vestibule creating an FAR of .41 where an FAR of .39 is allowed and currently exists at 47 Rokeby Road
  • Request for a special permit/site plan approval to construct a three-story addition in the BU1 District to allow for a building in excess of 20,000 square feet, to extend the non-conforming structure in regard to height, and side setback, to allow a restaurant with more than 50 seats, to waive the A+B+C parking formula, to allow an overall reduction in parking, to waive parking and landscaping requirements at 1314 Washington Street and 31 and 33 Davis Street (Sovereign Bank property) (see also Parking Counts memo)
  • Request to amend a previously granted special permit/site plan approval to allow the retail sales of marijuana for Garden Remedies 697, 691, 681 Washington Street and 2 Court Street (see also Response to Questions)
  • Request for a special permit/site plan approval to allow a registered medical marijuana dispensary in a non-conforming structure and waive parking and landscaping requirements at 24-26 Eliot Street (see also Response to Questions)
