Auburndale Historic District Commission: The Auburndale Historic District Commission is scheduled to meet on Tuesday, October 10th at 7:00 p.m. in Room 205 and is expected to discuss the following requests for Certificate of Appropriateness: a request to remove two windows and install new windows at 38 Vista Avenue, and a request to remove the existing front porch railing and replace the front stair railing at 33 Hancock Street. Economic Development Commission: The Economic Development Commission is scheduled to meet on Tuesday, October 10th at 7:30 p.m. in Room 204. According to the Planning Department’s Friday report (EDC agenda is not posted), the Commission is expected to have their usual updates from the Economic Development Director and the Economic Development Commission Chair, and will have a discussion on Sunrise Assisted Living special permit application that is currently before the Council. Planning and Development Board: The Planning and Development Board is scheduled to meet jointly with the Zoning and Planning Committee on Wednesday, October 11th at 7:45 p.m. to hear a request for a zoning amendment to permit lodging houses with rules requiring inspections and licensing. Community Preservation Committee: The Community Preservation Committee is scheduled to meet on Thursday, October 12th at 7:00 p.m. in Room 204 and is expected to discuss the following: Final Reports on the Taft Avenue and Cambria Road projects, discussion of possible revision to CPC deadlines and policies for submissions received after published deadlines, report from the CPA and Cities Workshop, and continued discussion of possible revisions to the Community Preservation Plan funding guidelines.
